A earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter Scale rocked Sikkim and other Northeast India on Sunday evening resulting in at least 20 deaths and injuries to several others. Gangtok in Sikkim, causing major damages in the area.
Over 100 injured besides causing extensive damage to buildings and roads. Tremors were also felt in Assam, Tripura, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh and Delhi.
